School Agreement

This School Agreement governs the school's use of the Learnr platform, operated by CronKode (Pty) Ltd. By completing onboarding or using Learnr, the school accepts this Agreement.

1. Service Description

CronKode grants the school a non-exclusive licence to use Learnr during the subscription period. Learnr provides: student, staff and parent management; period-aware attendance tracking; academic marks and assessment capture; homework management; behaviour record keeping; school fee management; communication tools; student gamification; and PWA mobile access for all 6 user roles.

2. School Responsibilities

The school agrees to:

• Designate a System Administrator responsible for managing user accounts and serving as primary contact with CronKode
• Ensure accurate data — the school is responsible for the accuracy of all data entered
• Obtain parental consent — before adding any learner data, obtain informed written consent from parents/guardians and keep signed consent forms on file
• Obtain photo consent — before uploading photographs of learners, obtain explicit written consent from parents/guardians
• Train staff — ensure all staff who use Learnr understand their POPIA obligations
• Maintain confidentiality — ensure login credentials are not shared and access is revoked when staff leave
• Comply with POPIA — the school is the data responsible party. Non-compliance with POPIA can result in penalties of up to R10 million or 10 years imprisonment
• Pay subscription fees as invoiced

3. CronKode Responsibilities

CronKode agrees to make Learnr available with reasonable availability (targeting 99% uptime); implement appropriate security measures; host data in adequately protected infrastructure; provide support via hello@learnr.co.za during business hours (Mon–Fri, 08:00–17:00 SAST); and notify the school within 24 hours of any data breach.

4. Subscription and Fees

Subscriptions are offered per-term or per-year. Pricing is capacity-based (per learner tier) as quoted during onboarding. Invoices are due within 30 days. Access may be suspended if payment is more than 15 days overdue. Price changes will be communicated with 60 days notice. A once-off onboarding setup fee applies as quoted.

5. Data Ownership

All data entered by the school remains the school's property. On termination, CronKode will provide a full data export within 30 days of request, then delete or anonymise data subject to legal retention requirements.

6. Limitation of Liability

CronKode's total liability is limited to fees paid in the 3 months preceding any claim. CronKode is not liable for decisions made by school staff using Learnr data, or for the school's failure to comply with POPIA.

7. Term and Termination

Either party may terminate with 30 days written notice at the end of a subscription period. CronKode may terminate immediately for material breach, non-payment, or unlawful use.

8. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
